I have a Grandson with Diabetes

It still breaks my heart everytime I watch my Grandson having to continually prick his fingers, count his food intake and give himself shots. These are brave souls that have had to adjust every aspect of their lives- just to stay alive. I don't think many people take the time to think back , "when I was 11, 13 or 16 years old, what was my focus on? "Was I worried about needles, blood sugars, food content? Probably not ..I would gladly give my life to be able to cure this in his.

How did you find the Diabetic Angels? What were you searching for?
