- My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes 5 days before her 11th birthday. The first year wasn't bad but then she hit puberty and between hormones and now a teen she has been in the hospital 3 times with Ketoacidosis. She has a very hard time controling her sugar. She needs a cure.
