I was diagnosed with diabetes almost 2 years ago, when i was 19, whilst on holiday in france, i spent a week in intensive care in a french hospital, and was told my condition wasn't long term. When i got back to the UK and admitted to York hospital i was told that diabetes is a long term condition, and that i would have to inject myself with insulin when ever i ate. This effected my life so much, and my life was turned upside down. I have donated alot of money to Diabetes UK and i have done my bit in order to spread the awareness. I would like to become a Diabetic Angel so i have people to talk to about the condition, as i dont know anyone with diabetes. And also help to raise more funds, and education to help towards people who suffer with the condition.
