Comment by Jackie Singer on January 15, 2009 at 11:52pm - Although my twin sister, Mollie, has been a Juvenile Diabetic for 15 years, our dog (pictured above) also had diabetes, he was the sweetest dog you'd ever meet, his name was Bruno, and he was so easy going too! We had to test his blood sugar (on his ear) with our little one touch ultra meter, and he never squirmed or anything, boy did he love his honey/syrup/apple juice when he was low too, it was so cute to see him lap it up! Anyway, just thought I'd share our diabetic dog story, he was one of the best managed diabetics I had ever seen :) Does anyone have or know a cat or dog who is/was diabetic?
